In these uncertain times, our thoughts are with all who have been impacted by the tornadoes and the coronavirus pandemic. More than ever, the Alliance Française de Nashville is thankful for belonging to an amazing community, and we are proud to say that we are indeed all in this together.

Due to the concerns regarding COVID-19 in Nashville, AFN has made modifications to how it delivers some of its activities. This page summarizes those changes. AFN has opened its Spring session with converting all of its classes to an online live delivery.

Whether you'd like to register for True Beginner 1 & 2, Beginner 3 & 4, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate or Advanced Conversation, our amazing teachers are ready to get you to speak French. Info and registration on this site.

We may be bound at home, we can still find ways to be happy AND share good times. Our happy hours are going strong, thanks to our fantastic moderators. Cercle de Conversation.

We are using our facebook page ( to relay information, links, specials on everything French. Make sure that you follow us and check the page regularly for vocabulary, games, available content, etc. Post, share, comment such that, as many are saying, we're "at home, but not alone."

Other Activities.

Yes, our Soirées are happening virtually! Same schedule (last Friday of the month). Contact us at to receive the link to connect! Same online scheduling for Ciné Club and Cercle de Lecture. At this time, the following activities and events have been put on hold, until we're able to reopen our office: Beaujolais Nouveau Celebration, Immersion Day, French Fest, Teen Group. AFN Board continues to assess the situation.
