Amy Bertram is a native Tennessean and has lived in Nashville since 2007. She attended Davidson College, graduating in 1994, and then completed her MA at UTK in 2004 and her PhD in French and Cinema Studies in 2014. She loves the French people, culture, food, lifestyle, and, of course, spending time in Francophone places. She has close connections with her college host family from Montpellier and her more recent hosts in Caen, France, as she has chaperoned three different groups of Sister Cities high school ambassadors to Caen and one group of University of Tennessee undergraduates for a month. Amy is an avid outdoorswoman and hikes often with her husband, John Sellberg. She and John both love to cook and spend a lot of time creating culinary delights.
