True Beginner French

True Beginner French classes are offered on Saturdays, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m, during the winter and spring sessions. True Beginner French is not offered in the fall.

The True Beginner class is designed for students who have never taken French classes before.

At the end of a session of True Beginner French, students should be able to recognize and use familiar words and simple phrases; introduce themselves and know when to use formal and informal subject pronouns; ask and answer simple questions about age and origin; and present family members and describe them.

Along the way, students will learn basic pronunciation and essential facts about the Francophone world. No textbook is required; the instructor will provide the necessary material.

In the winter and spring sessions, you will be able to download a PDF here to print and mail in for registration.

Or you can pay online with PayPal.

Cost for AFN members is $215 per class session.

Cost for non-members is $260 per class session and includes AFN one year membership.
