Intermediate French classes are offered on Thursday evenings, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Fall 2017 classes run from September 14 through November 16.
At the end of the Spring session of Intermediate French, students should be able to understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar subjects in work, school, leisure activities, etc.; describe someone’s personality; give advice; report a discourse or event and share opinions; understand and express percentage; write a text about their city or country and its inhabitants; and understand stories based on stereotypes.

The text required for the class is Alter Ego + 2 : Livre de l’élève + CD-Rom + Parcours digital, by Annie Berthet, Emmanuelle Daill, Catherine Hugot, Véronique Kizirian, and Monique Waendendries. Students may also want to purchase Alter Ego + 2 : Cahier d’activités + CD audio. Supplementary materials supplied by the instructor may be used in class.
