Advanced Beginner classes are offered on Wednesday evenings, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Spring 2018 classes begin April 11.
At the end of the Spring session of Advanced Beginner French, students should be able to understand isolated phrases and common expressions that relate to areas of high personal relevance (like personal or family information, shopping, immediate environment, work); talk about past events; understand and explain tastes in food; give positive and negative appreciations; describe objects and indicate their functions; describe accommodations; and talk about their relationships.

The text required for the class is Alter Ego + Level One Textbook with CD (French Edition) by Annie Berthet. Students should also purchase Alter Ego + Level 1 Exercise Book (French Edition). Supplementary materials supplied by the instructor may be used in class.
