Jacob Truax has lived in the Nashville area since he was in grade school. Developing a passion for the French language his first year of high school, he went on to major in the subject in college and spent three years as a student and then a teaching assistant in Besançon, France. He is entering his 15th year teaching high school French to the lucky students of Riverdale high school in Murfreesboro. He is excited about the lineup of AFN events for this year. The Beaujolais festival and fundraiser this past November was the best ever, and our first French Fest on Bastille Day should be even better. Jacob feels that AFN’s board is energetic, has new ideas, and is ready to grow along with its home city of Nashville. Jacob can be reached at jacob@afnashville.org.
